What is NATA?
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) programs across India. It tests the aptitude and skills of candidates for the field of architecture.
- Eligibility: Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks.
- Exam Duration: 3 hours (for both sections).
- Exam Pattern: It consists of two parts – Part A (Online) and Part B (Drawing Test).
- Subjects: Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing (for the creative part).
- Marking Scheme: Part A: 120 marks (Objective type questions) and Part B: 80 marks (Drawing test).
- Results: NATA results are declared in the form of scores and ranks. These results are used for admissions into various architectural institutes across India.
